Dr. Sedgwick is a graduate of Princeton University, the New School for Social Research, and the University of Colorado. He completed seven years of postdoctoral training with the Interregional Society of Jungian Analysts in 1991, graduating "with distinction." In private practice in Charlottesville since 1985, Dr. Sedgwick has also held staff positions at the University of Virginia, University of Colorado, the Boulder Valley Clinic, and Boulder Psychiatric Institute. He was an assistant professor (general faculty) at UVA from 1984-1996 and is the author of numerous books and articles on psychotherapy and psychoanalysis.
